This will probably be my last update before Christmas and my last winter themed outfit, due to being busy with visiting family and events for my birthday it will be difficult to find some time for Lotro. With the update out I haven’t even had time to immerse myself in all the new wonderful instances and cosmetics available! But as soon as I can I will definitely be posting outfits using the new items.
Cosmetic Lotro, Lotro Stylist and Lotro Fashion are also joining forces to host a Christmas outfit contest! I’m looking forward to this one as after making a bunch of outfits myself it can be difficult when you find a piece you want to showcase, the problem being you have to find all the other pieces then to match it; and it can take five minutes or five hours. The piece used on the chest here is a prime example of taking hours.
The chest piece I came across while questing in Forochel, I believe all three quest rewards were fantastic and I struggled to decide which to go for, but I finally decided this one caught my eye so much and I am pleased with the result, it’s a gorgeous piece of armour. The quest was outside of Suri-Kyla, the quest where you have to escort the Elk to safety from around the corner :-]
Head: Ajokoira Hat [Ceremonial version at Lotro Store or crafted reputation piece – Lossoth] ~Red~

Chest: Thick Elk-Hide Waistcoat [Quest Reward – Forochel or T4 crafted – Tailor] ~Crimson or Red both work great so whichever is cheaper to craft/buy~

Legs: Ajokoira Leggings [Ceremonial version at Lotro Store or crafted reputation piece – Lossoth] ~White~

If i don’t update before Christmas, have a fantastic one and an even better New Years😛 As always comments are greatly appreciated❤

I’m really pleased with how this outfit turned out, I’d had the chest and legs as an outfit before but with the cloak and hat added I love it even more on my elf.
Everything must have gone wrong while trying to take these screenshots and crop them, it was raining in 90% of Middle-Earth and I was limited as to where I could go where it wouldn’t be raining, and then night fell so I lost a lot of light. While cropping my pc ran very slow and I was getting very frustrated so I decided to just go ahead and wait, what’s another hour when it’s a Saturday? I could go get some lunch and try again later. So here is the result (Notice it still didn’t change from night?)
Note: The Boots in the last image are not used in this outfit, however in my opinion suit it better. I did not include these since people might not have the pre-order items, but if you do they work great. Also this outfit may suit a burglar perfectly with a hood! Especially the rift cosmetic hood.
Head: Threadbare Hat of the Dunland Healer [Quest reward – Dunland] ~Black~
Shoulders: Padded Pristine Dwarf-Make Shoulder Guards [T5 crafted] ~Black~
Back: Plain Cloak [Outfitter in Bree] ~Black~
Chest: Superb Dwarf-make Campaigner’s Armour [Crafted T5] ~Black~
Hands: Leather Gauntlets [Armour vendor – Esteldin] ~Black~
Legs: Westernesse Protector’s Leggings [Crafted T5] ~Black~
Feet: Resilient Combat Boots of Théodred [Crafted T7] ~Black~

I don’t know about you, but I certainly can’t wait for this one. As an avid mount collector I must have every one so it’s wonderful when ones pop up that I love. Steed of the hunter is currently my favourite but this one I think will top that. If they continue in the series of mounts that are designed for classes like they seem to be doing, then all you cosmetic crazies out there should be saving for this. I’m often making my cosmetics fit my wonderful horses and will be adding a few horse and outfit duo’s in this blog no doubt in the near future.
